As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Your attention to detail and ability to analyze transportation data will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities - Receive and process transportation requests from clients - Coordinate with drivers and assign routes based on delivery requirements - Monitor driver progress and provide updates to clients as needed - Track shipments and maintain accurate records of transportation activities - Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and optimize routes - Communicate with drivers and clients, to resolve any issues or delays - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies - Collaborate with the fleet management team to maintain vehicle maintenance schedules - Ability to find new potential customers.
